Patient Participation Group (PPG) Meeting
PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP
Patients, carers and GP Practice staff discussing Practice issues
and patient experiences, to improve the service.
The Practice welcomes more engagement and feedback – why not join us?
Next Meeting is at Churchinford Village Hall (TA3 7QY) on Monday 1st September 2.30-4.00pm
WHAT’S ALL THIS ABOUT?
All GP practices have a PPG and we would like ours to be representative of the practice
population. Like many others, the Blackdown Practice has struggled to attract patients
willing to take an active role in the Group.
HOW COULD YOU HELP?
‘Active’ doesn’t mean you have to dedicate a huge amount of time to the Group. In any
PPG there will be a core of people fulfilling key roles (Chairman etc); but for the majority
of people membership is more likely to be limited to attending occasional meetings
where the topic under discussion is of particular interest or considering matters (perhaps
from the comfort of your sofa at home) and responding by email.
INTERESTED? WILLING?
Why not consider joining the Group – either as a ‘core’ member or a ‘lay’ member? The
Practice really would appreciate your involvement and input.
To find out more, or to register your interest, contact Karen Button the Practice Manager
on 01823 680206 or e-mail d-icb.blackdownpatientfeedback@nhs.net
Please do not use this for clinical or admin queries, these should be directed to your usual
surgery by phone or by submitted an online request.
