Flu & Covid Vaccinations Autumn 2026

We are now booking appointments for flu vaccinations - a covid booster will be offered to eligible patients at the same appointment, but please note that the criteria for flu and covid are not the same.  Covid boosters are now offered to a reduced patient group.

For flu, the vaccination is offered to all patients aged 65 and above, and then to patients below this age based on certain health conditions.  Invitations to these patients have been sent by letter or text message.  Invites are still being sent out until 26th September and if you receive text messages from us, you can book following the booking link sent to you.

For covid boosters, this is offered to patients from the age of 75 years and then to patients with severe medical conditions which means they are severely immuno-suppressed (not the same as the flu criteria).

If you need to contact the surgery to book, because you cannot book using a link, then we ask that you ring after 10.30am to allow urgent medical calls to be received during the early part of the morning.

When attending your flu/covid vaccination appointment, if you can safely park and walk to the surgery, then please do so.  Parking at our surgeries is limited (particularly at Hemyock) and your help in keeping these spaces available for patients with reduced mobility is appreciated.
